Waste, Recycling and Resources Co-Ordinator

About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Waste, Recycling and Resources Co-Ordinator to join our team to work in Coleshill, Birmingham.

Role Purpose:
To assist the waste lead in their work through supporting data management, acting as liaison with site environmental and construction teams, and gathering information to support projects. Collating information from route-wide subcontracts to feed into reporting and maintaining relevant documents.

What you’ll be doing

Assist with engaging with sublots to keep Site Waste Management Plans up to date

Assist with implementing waste reduction and recycling initiatives on site

Help to ensure that legal documents (waste transfer notes/consignment notes/permits) are collected and maintained

Supporting training and contributing to the creation of training materials

Help design process flows and communications materials for waste activities

Liaise with sites to assemble waste-related documents and help co-ordinate waste services on site

Support management and dissemination of waste data from subcontractors and sublots

Reporting of good and bad waste practices

Assist in conducting waste and recycling audits

Who we’re looking for

Educated to degree level or equivalent

A proven interest in waste management, sustainable use of materials and wider environmental issues

Understanding of the benefits of working collaboratively to obtain the best outcome for the project

Interpersonal and communication skills.

Full driving licence
