Title: VP Regional Operations-Sterling Aviation

Proactively lead the management of the Sterling operations in the Americas. Develop solution strategies to improve operational and customer service processes within the control tower(s).

Your RoleResponsible for new business operational implementation, continuous improvement initiatives & day to day operations. Liaise with quality assurance and sales to provide first class service offerings and customer experiences.

Your Responsibilities

Oversee the complete regional logistics operations of the aviation division in accordance with the directions established on a yearly basis.

Manage service offerings required to meet operational targets established on a yearly basis.

Develop specific operational strategies & processes based on Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Supports team engagement/delivery and overall quality through joint on-site meetings.

Supporting the company’s performance management program

Identify high performers & high potentials.

Align corporate and leadership expectations within the control tower.

Builds and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring the necessary resources are directed to meet customer needs and solutions on a global basis.

Oversee the day to day operations of the regional control tower(s).

Manages staffing levels, recruitment plans and overtime allotment.

Monitors and manages revenue margins for worker productivity:

Closely align with the head of QA to design and implement lean processes to ensure continuous improvement initiatives are met.

Your Skills And Experiences

A minimum of 5 years experience with a college degree in accounting and/or business management.

Previous successful P&L responsibility a plus.

Ability to present and communicate ideas to management and staff.

Demonstrate ability to identify and solve problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly effective presentation and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Excellent time management with ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Extensive knowledge of QIC organization and technologies, with the ability to lead the achievement of unified QIC solutions.

Potential international travel up to 40%.

Must be able to work flexible schedule to a 24/7/365 operation.

Experience:

0-15 years of industry experience

Excellent interpersonal & public speaking skills.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration and/or supply chain management

Proven strategic planning and budgeting experience

Experience building and scaling teams and systems

Knowledge of Dangerous Goods/Restricted Article Regulations Preferred
