The roles will be responsible for assisting in daily operations and tasks within flight operations. Under general direction, maximize international trip support service and customer relations with new and existing clients, providing superior customer service, and communicating all WFS’s products and services to WFS’s existing or new customers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in establishing and providing an unmatched quality of service and communication to all WFS Customers
Responsible for Quality assurance of all aspects of their managed trips
Responsible for improving and enhancing the customer relationships
Responsible for incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and SITA/AFTN traffic
Responsible for assuring that all trips are current and updated in a timely manner based on the most recent customer communications
Responsible for Loading all flight request into operational system
Responsible for day-to-day operations requirements such as but not limited to the following:
Arranging ground handling, permits, customs services, hotels, transportation, and Fuel
Assisting with fuel quotes and/or arrangements after normal business hours
Back up flight planner and *meteorologist (*where applicable/qualified)
The flight consultant is responsible for global flight planning. This includes creating ATC routes, canceling/refiling/delaying flight plans as required, solving Eurocontrol route validation issues, reading/understanding/communicating pertinent weather information, and offering ATC route guidance to clients when necessary.
The Flight Consultant is responsible for working with the Project Management Teams to perform operational coordination to ensure the success of the flight/project.
Responsible for monitoring communications after normal business hours and on weekends upon implementation of the storefront operations
Able to provide expert level of support and consultation to WFS customers
Analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating meteorological information to determine potential hazards to flight safety and determine proper routings.
Advanced knowledge of meteorology in preparing weather packages for upcoming trips
Confirming receipt of flight packages with the client, the handler, and/or the hotel
Advanced knowledge of loading aircraft into Navtech or other flight planning system(s)
Qualifiers:
ØBachelor’s Degree (BS, BA, etc.) in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science or equivalent military training and experience.
Ø2+ years of Aviation work experience is essential: commercial or general aviation.
ØKnowledge of ATC regulations and understanding of flight planning systems.
ØStrong customer services skills and experience.
ØStrong oral and written communication skills in English.
ØAdvance proficiency in MS Office product suite.
ØAbility and willingness to work varied shifts: night and weekend
