Required skills, qualifications and experience

Minimum of 10 years’ experience, including 5 in aerospace (military/commercial)

Detailed experience of authoring Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) content (specifically Air Publications or Books of Reference (BRs)

Knowledge and experience of producing Data Module content for Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP)

Understanding of Def Stan 0060/00600 and Defence Logistics Framework (DLF) requirements

Performance driven, highly energetic and determined

Committed team player who has the ability to work within a fast-paced business environment

Confident self-starter, capable of innovation and lateral thinking

Knowledge and experience of ILS disciplines and the associated interactions

Clear and impactful communication and presentation skills

Must have a passion for technology and innovation

Willing and able to travel at short notice.

Desired skills, qualifications and experience

Knowledge of Air Publication specifications (e.g. ASD S1000D, ATA100, DADS and DAvP 70/77)

10+ years’ experience within a technical/engineering environment

Knowledge and experience of Commercial Publication specifications

Strong background within the Aerospace environment, with specific knowledge and experience of Rotorcraft systems, specifically Avionic systems

Knowledge and experience of working within an Integrated Project Team (IPT)

Overview of the regulations, standards, processes and procedures used by the Military Aviation Authority (MAA)

Experience of developing Web or Application-based content would be advantageous.
