Title: Technical Writer – Aerospace
Location: Hialeah, FL
Aerotek is currently hiring Technical Writers for a client of ours in the Aviation/Aerospace industry.

Understand and interpret aerospace technical documents such as CMM’s, OHM’s, SOPM’s , Service Bulletins & Letters, Blueprints Etc.
Creating work plans for individual parts detailing the required repair process as stated in the OEM technical data.
Determine applicable repair processes in case rework is required for return to service in accordance with technical data (CMM, OHM, Blueprint).
Creating bill of materials (BOM) for all components to be repaired listing all necessary parts per configuration. Qualifications
Engineering Degree with Manufacturing or Aerospace focus
3 years technical writing experience
3 years FAA experience
