SUMMARY:The Technical records analyst is responsible for reviewing and maintaining Aircraft and Engine historical records, including complete back-to-birth trace for life-limited parts. Additionally, this position is responsible for establishing and maintaining open and direct omers for the purpose of processing and retention of all aircraft maintenance records and supporting the sales team goals and growth initiatives. Owns customer relationships, works with product line managers and department managers locate opportunities and work with internal teams towards the initiatives of locating sales opportunities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
Review aircraft records for completeness and accuracy upon receipt.
Learn and understand the policies and procedures of the Technical Records department.
Identify and obtain corrections to discrepant records.
Develops and maintains complex and strategic relationships with customers.
Scan and retain all historical records of airframe, components, and engines for log pages, aircraft work cards, all checks and parts control tags.
Reviews aircraft and engine records to ensure company assets have complete documentation in support of business and FAA regulatory requirements.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the external customer disassembly team members
Responsible for designating and executing on the analysis of all aircraft tear downs and providing feedback on process efficiency improvement.
Interpret, verify, and audit Airworthiness Directives and method of compliance.
Facilitates internal and client meetings and working sessions with mid- to senior-level clients.
Resolves records issues and elevates to appropriate work groups if necessary.
Work with Airline or other customers as requested with records research.
Administrates and maintains the records system which ensures proper time control information regarding airframes, components, accessories, appliances, Airworthiness Directives, and others that may be required.
Research and set up historical records for aircraft and engines.
Maintain and audit the aircraft records for the repair or overhaul of airframe, components, accessories, appliances, engines.
Perform daily records audits for completeness.
Plays an active role in problem resolution and following up to ensure resolutions are obtained in a timely manner.
Update the maintenance and inspection tracking software and other records tracking methods as necessary to ensure timely information is available.
Convert records to digital format and retain all historical records of airframe, components, engines and APUs in accordance with company and federal regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
4+ years of aircraft records experience: i.e., administrative experience with maintaining aviation maintenance records, such as Production Control, Quality Assurance, r comparable position.
High School diploma.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Access, Excel, and Word.
Applicable hands-on knowledge and experience applying FAA records and recordkeeping regulations
Experience with company maintenance mainframe tracking systems and reports
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
Experience using Quantum.
Detail oriented with an eye for catching errors.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
