Who We’re Looking For:

Xwing is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead our Hazard Avoidance program. As part of a high-energy, collaborative leadership team, you will lean on your technical expertise as well as your leadership experience to guide the Hazard Avoidance technology towards certification.

Your ability to think strategically and function tactically will help the team navigate the small speed bumps and conquer the mountains. You love challenges and can surf ambiguity – we are looking for someone like you.

This position reports directly to the Director of Program Management.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Be responsible for the overall development, integration and test of the Hazard Avoidance technology to support the certification of the Cessna 208B Autonomy program

Work with strategic suppliers in the development and integration of key technology

Develop and manage the detailed schedule for Hazard Avoidance program

Work side-by-side with the Hazard Avoidance team, participating in all aspects of the product development lifecycle

Collaborate with the Autonomy program management team and engineering product teams to develop technology roadmaps

Facilitate the maturing of key technologies, taking proof-of-concept into full scale development

Identify risk as well as means for mitigation; then put mitigation plans into action

Coordinate with peer Technical Program Managers and Project Leads

Set up and facilitate daily/weekly standups

Provide program status to the team and to senior leadership

Manage your project within budget and schedule

Identify and monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Work with supply chain to ensure on-time delivery of supplier hardware/software/equipment

Required Qualifications:

BS or MS in an engineering discipline and 8 years of industry experience
