European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. It is an aircraft maintenance company as well as a cargo airline. The fleet of EAT Leipzig consists of 34 aircraft, including Airbus A300-600, A330-200 and Boeing 757.

YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a motivated and experienced member for our Management Team who is responsible for the excellent management of the daily technical operations to ensure timely operations of our fleet.

In detail this means:
Efficient resource management of our fleet which fully meets regulatory and operation requirements

Manage external suppliers and stations to promote solid strategic business relationships

Maintain high quality standards in compliance with all applicable regulations and actively promote EAT safety management culture

Analyze, adjust and/or improve processes/procedures and instructions to ensure optimum balanced fleet availability punctuality and cost to realize the network operation schedule

Develop operational strategies and innovative concepts to meet latest industry standards and process improvements to drive fleet availability and dispatch reliability

Monitor department-specific key figures and owning budget responsibility

Responsible for personnel management, motivation of maintenance employees and actively promoting continuous improvements

Liaise with social partners and works council

WHAT YOU BRING

Adequate professional experience in the aviation industry at management level, preferably in a large aircraft maintenance organization

Extensive knowledge of legislative and regulatory framework and other statutory requirements e.g. EASA Part 145/147/66/CAMO

Experience as Form 4 Holder in Part CAMO and/or Part 145 required

Extensive operational and technical background, including knowledge of technical records and planning

Airline or MRO experience at management level

Good IT skills in applications and systems relevant to airline maintenance activities i.e. TRAX

Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and German

Decisive and assertive to provide flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment

Strong interpersonal skills and team-building abilities, excellent leadership and management skills

Demonstrated analytical skills and service quality driven

Good understanding of financial and commercial matters

Confident, self-motivated, responsible and able to delegate and work under intensive time pressures
