JOB PROFILE

The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory, providing support to Production team and ensuring corporate and regulatory standards are adhered to at all times. The Supply Chain Technician reports to the Base Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The issuance of inventory from the controlled stores areas to ensure accuracy of quantities and information in company database;
  • Shipping and Receiving as necessary for YYC location;
  • Provide daily / weekly / monthly reports as required;
  • Assist the Asset Manager with monitoring and control of aircraft tooling and shelf life items;
  • Assist with annual/cycle count mandates, inventory accuracy within Stores and Production Assist with investigating any potential trace inventory items;
  • Handle project related tasks to support new programs, pre-draw & tool provisioning, aircraft maintenance planning and maintain organization of parts control room;
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of the internal computer systems in order to manage/maintain/amend purchasing, repair and inventory data, history and specific supplier information;
  • Respond to ever changing priorities at any given time while ensuring a safe operating environment;
  • Actively promote safety and quality within the organization and department by encouraging employee participation in SMS and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders;
  • Comply with all SMS and safety policies, processes and standards;
  • Any additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Base Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Possess a valid drivers license;
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Pass;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge in Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Experience in aviation software systems or similar ERP system;
  • Familiar with general aviation practices and terminology;
  • Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently or within a group;
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented;
  • Promotes a culture of safety.

Expected start date: 2022-02-01

Salary: From $19.00 per hour
