AERQ is a joint venture between LG Electronics and Lufthansa Technik which stands for the digitalization of the airplane cabin. We develop and manufacture innovative aircraft components designed to enhance the passenger experience and enable new perspectives for airlines. Headquartered in Hamburg, we are utilizing expertise and experience from both of our founding members and are currently expanding our operations.

We are currently looking for a

Strategy & Project Manager (m/f/d)
To join our Strategy team.

What you will do:

• Drive the growth of our still very young but rapidly expanding company by continuously developing its strategy
• Lead strategic projects and perform inhouse consulting to support the other AERQ teams and ensure strategy execution
• Assess and develop business models for the commercial aircraft cabin
• Manage our corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives
• Help develop our organization during this time of growth
• Prepare and align reporting and communication with both of AERQ’s shareholders
• Perform comprehensive market studies and derive recommendations for the company and its product portfolio
• Cover ad-hoc requests on behalf of the Managing Directors and Head of Department

Who you are:

• Several years of experience working in strategy or consulting accompanied by a sound set of methodologies
• Ideal candidates have good knowledge of the aviation industry, in particular the areas of inflight entertainment and connectivity as well as the latest digitalization trends for the commercial aircraft cabin
• Comfortable leading projects end-to-end, covering i.e. partner engagement, business modelling, financial analysis, management presentation, legal work, deal closure
• Outgoing and open-minded with strong customer orientation
• Efficient, structured, and pragmatic way of working – speed matters to us!
• You get a kick out of working in uncertainty and continuously generate new ideas and concepts – of course failure is part of the journey
• We are an international company – fluent English skills and extensive time spent abroad are a must
