International Aerospace Coatings (IAC) is the world’s leading aviation specialist painting company. This is an exciting 26-week paid training program where you will learn the skills to become an apprentice aircraft painter. The program will consist of a mix of classroom and hands on training. You don’t need any experience just a willingness to work hard and learn the process.

United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Air Canada, and many more

What you will do:

Throughout the training course you will learn how to:

  • Work safely around aircraft.
  • Perform industry leading methods of preparing aircraft for painting in accordance with FAA regulations including masking, surface preparation, chemical stripping, surface cleaning.
  • Mix and apply paint and coatings applications using electro-static and HVLP equipment
  • Apply of livery masks in accordance with engineering designs
  • Safely operate machinery around aircraft
  • Safely and correctly use and dispose of chemical and materials in accordance with state regulations
