Want to LOVE going to work every day?Come be part of our dynamic team supporting America’s National Parks!America’s National Parks, a not-for-profit partner of the National Park Service, is seeking a Site Manager with a strong work ethic to support our retail operations at* Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park* in Dayton, OH.This is a full-time, year-round, hourly position. The right candidate will need to be available 32 hours/5 days per week with one weekend day required.We’re looking for someone who is versatile, dedicated and has a desire to learn and grow with America’s National Parks.The Site Manager will be a key member of the America’s National Parks team and will manage all retail business operations according to company policies, procedures, and standards. The Site Manager will drive the business while supporting America’s National Parks mission including a regular review of store sales goals to identify growth opportunities. The successful candidate is also responsible for ensuring timely deposit of daily sales receipts, managing controllable expenses including payroll and operations expenses, and maintaining accurate records according to America’s National Parks policy. The Site Manager must exhibit exceptional customer service and selling skills and ensure displays are shoppable and visually appealing.The right candidate will have the following:

Minimum of three years’ experience in retail management.
Computer proficiency with applied understanding of Microsoft Office software.
Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team through shared Mission and goals.
Results driven and able to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, high energy environment with shifting priorities.
Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 15 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet; may be exposed to standing for long periods of time to include bending, squatting, and reaching.
Ability to travel using multiple modes of transportation (air, train, car, etc.) as needed.
