Job DescriptionThe Site Manager is responsible for overall monitoring of AGS Air Security Operations for the San Antonio Air Operations hub. The Site Manager or his/her designee is required to be on post 90 minutes prior to the beginning of security flight crew operations. The Site Manager has the primary operations duties for their site including but not limited to scheduling, timekeeping, safety, and incident management including corrective action. The SM provides direction to staff regarding daily duties and assignments, conducts safety reviews and inspections of the various staff and work areas, recruits and interviews new staff, initiates and delivers corrective action and implements all site level policy as directed by the Project Manager. The Site Manager reports to the Project Manager.

Job Responsibilities & DutiesThe duties of the Site Manager (SM) include but are not limited to the following:

Supervise assigned aviation site and interact with Project Manager (PM) as needed or required, Track arrival and activities of security staff

Review and approve all weekly schedules and monitor changes to schedule to ensure compliance with Contract Bargaining Agreement

Primary point of contact and representative for primary contractor Classic Air Charter for operations information and direction

Track and monitor vehicles on ramp for arriving or departing aliens

Ensure all paperwork and property is properly accounted for arriving/departing detainees

Monitor and report on changing conditions including missing staff, changed missions, and cancellations

Complete travel documents for staff when required

Scheduling of applicant interviews. Submit and request background checks

Liaison with Human Resources regarding review of employment contingencies

Schedule and conduct new hire orientations

Order and issue uniforms from inventory; reconcile invoices with packing slips

Fingerprint applicants/employees for state armed/unarmed security registrations and submit/track paperwork

Track and schedule annual physicals, drug screening, security registrations, and certifications per contract requirements

Coordination and oversight of training

Participates in company/department quality audits

Organize and maintain file system, and file correspondence and other records

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a US citizen

US citizens residing in the US with any visas and inoculations required to permit departure from and entry into the US and all scheduled foreign destinations

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must have a H.S. Diploma or GED. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Progressive experience can be substituted for a College Degree

Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays

3 years of full-time experience as a corrections/detention officer within the Unit…
