We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Service Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team on a Permanent basis at one of our most prestigious aviation clients, BAE.
This role is perfect for anyone who is either looking to stay within the Security industry or to start a new career in this great industry sector.
On a daily basis you will enthusiastically support service delivery to the customer by effective manpower and route planning, employee engagement ensuring Client and Company standards are met through the correct means and manage and retain all AIR Security Administration and Reception personnel in line with the client’s service level agreements.

The main responsibilities for this position are:–
Ensuring compliance in accordance with UK HMG and BAE Systems regulations and policies
Responsible for a team of Security Administrators and Receptionists
Allocation of resources in line with statutory and company standards
Oversee the maintenance of Security vetting databases and registers including generating reports
Ensure all staffing levels meet the agreed service level and that all recruitment is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Recruitment and succession planning through Securitas On-Boarding process
Support the client in development, implementation and delivery of a competency based training package
Ensure effective training is provided so employees carry out their role to the required standard.
Ensure all assignment instructions/ risk assessments and site documentation is current and in date and fully understood by all employees
To assist in the retention of customers ensuring that the level of service provided does not fluctuate and to ensure all target times are met
Work to agreed practices relating to Health and Safety and quality Management
Ensure relevant company Key Performance Indicator targets are met on an on-going basis
Undertake quality assurance checks.
Management of grievance/disciplinary procedures where necessary
Carry out audits to understand where improvements can be made
To actively encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards
Co-ordinate and conduct welfare meetings as per British Standards
To build, develop, lead and retain a team of Security Administrators, that believe and demonstrate through their day to day activities that Securitas is different to other Security service providers.
You will do this by: –
Ensuring understanding and demonstrable implementation of the Securitas Values of Integrity; Vigilance and Helpfulness
Active steps to maintain communication; recognise achievement and develop the Securitas Community
Carry out Continued Professional Development meetings in line with Securitas Career Development programme.
Succession planning to ensure that the Account has the capability to deliver consistent high levels of service.
To ensure all staff and officers in the Account fully understand and comply with, all aspects of Securitas Policy and relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including any changes to policies or procedures and can demonstrate appropriate levels of control.

Required Skills
Current SIA licence
Have a full 5-year checkable work history.
Ability to obtain SC clearance
Experience of relationship building and fully engaging with internal and external stakeholders
Experience of giving and providing coaching to management colleagues
Strong written and verbal communication
Competent in MS Word, Excel and E-Mail (Outlook).
