(Senior) Systems Safety / Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) Job at Wingcopter – in Weiterstadt

Currently, we are looking for a (Senior) Systems Safety / Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Team.
What You’ll Do:
Perform safety assessments on different system levels (including e.g. FTA, FHA, FMEA and FMECA)
Review supplier documents
Manage safety related requirements and traceability from high levels to subsystems and components (including regulatory-, human factor- and environmental requirements)
Perform and review Reliability Assessments
Coordinate activities with external suppliers
Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members of an agile team in meeting program objectives.
Work in a multidisciplinary team – with certification, software, hardware and flight testing teams
Assume responsibility for the documentation, validation and verification of the safety process for the authorization by the aviation authority
What You’ll Need:
Engineering degree (ideally software engineering, electrical engineering or aviation engineering)
3+ years of professional experience in systems engineering
Experience with systems engineering according to ARP4754A and ARP4761
Experience in requirements management and RM-Tools
Experience with safety analysis tools
Knowledge of system development processes according certification aspects are a strong advantage
Experience with agile development of aviation systems
Knowledge of development and certification standards, RTCA DO 160, DO 254, DO 178, is a plus
Good communication skills
Independent and solution-oriented thinking and acting on own responsibility
