Job SummaryDESCRIPTIONThe Senior Program Manager, Fleet Reliability position is an integral part of the high performing Global Technical Operations team. The team leads the technical oversight and management of Amazon’s fleet of aircraft. The position leads the aircraft reliability program, drives the development of reliability analysis and develops aircraft reliability projections. The position shares analysis and projections with various stakeholders, forums and reliability program owners to surface improvement opportunities, drive lasting improvement initiatives and measure results. Reliability Initiatives are focused on maintaining consistent high-level fleet reliability performance and providing the best possible service for Amazon’s customers. The position will use tools such as Excel, Tableau to visualize current reliability trends and probabilistic models to project future reliability performance. Communication skills are critical for this position, the position interfaces with all levels of internal stakeholders and external organizations. Travel for this position is occasional and focused on meetings with stakeholders and forums.

Key job responsibilities

Lead the Aircraft Reliability Program and team

Develop and maintain the aircraft reliability standard work

Develop and strengthen reliability analysis and projections

Create data visualizations and quantified improvement recommendations

Centralize reliability work teams and build common initiatives

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in data science or engineering

5 years of experience leading reliability program management

3 years of experience developing reliability statistics, probability and predictive modeling

3 years of experience using Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools

2 years of experience writing improvement recommendation documents

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, with accredited data science

8 years of commercial aircraft reliability and maintenance program experience

Lean or Six Sigma Certification
