Senior IFRS Accountant – Munich or London

Your role and your team:
We’re building a world-class, scalable Finance function ready for future growth in electric aviation. The Senior IFRS Accountant will play a critical role in growing the Group Accounting function in Lilium ready for market entry. This is a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact in a Financial Reporting role. Our challenge is to manage the demands of a fast paced and highly disruptive electric aviation start-up, whilst adhering to the rigorous requirements of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and PCAOB audit standards.

Your Day to day:
Prepare and review IFRS adjustment schedules for posting to our consolidation software, Lucanet.

Prepare schedules, notes and disclosures for our published Group financial statements under IFRS.

Work closely with local Financial Accountants to enhance process efficiency and ensure high data quality.

Grow the Group Accounting team by onboarding new colleagues and helping with team decision making.

Your profile:
You will ideally have a recognised international or German accounting qualification and / or proven practical experience that includes a strong understanding of IFRS accounting.

A track record of delivering to stringent audit and financial reporting deadlines.

You pride yourself on delivering high quality work, on time.

Resilient and comfortable working in a growing, fast paced environment and able to adapt your priorities flexibly as we learn and grow.

Strong communication and influencing skills.

You are fluent in Business English (German language skills will be useful).
