Senior ICT Project Manager Job at Ergo – in Dublin, County Dublin

An experienced ICT project Manager required for a client in th Aviation sector. This is a day rate contract position for approx 6-12 months.

Direct and manage all stages of the ICT Restructuring delivery from planning to completion.

Plan and design the Projects and proactively monitoring their progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.

Create and maintain all Project documents and artifacts

Manage project budget allocations, deliver progress reports and continually manage project resource allocations.

Ensure that the delivery from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the Programme plan and Programme governance arrangements.

Manage both external and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables

Manage multiple projects concurrently, their dependencies and the resolve delivery issues.

initiate extra activities and interventions wherever gaps in Projects are identified or issues arise.

Report progress of the Project Owner and to the relevant Programme Board.

Provide leadership and direction to project teams

Manage risk exposure within Projects and ensure escalation models are followed.

Ensure that anticipated benefits are being realised as the Projects progress.

Ensure Project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Work with the business management to transition to the new business as usual position.

Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of key elements of the Projects being delivered managing expectations of what can be delivered and when.

Required Competencies:
Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams.

Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the Programme.

Broad technology experience across multiple business critical applications and solutions including network, Financial Management Systems, HR Managements Systems, Office365 and Azure.

Relevant qualification in Programme/Project Management.

Minimum of 7+ years ICT Project experience in similar role within large organisation.

Sound business case development and approvals skills.

Good decision-making skills.

Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.

The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.

Excellent Communication and presentation Skills.

Excellent Interpersonal Skills.

Ability to engage with stakeholders.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
