Airport Operations

The Airport Operations department keeps operations ing smoothly through planning, organization and supervision.

Job overview and responsibilities

* Assists managers and supervisors by performing advanced administrative activities and functions associated with scheduling, payroll, accounts payable, report preparation and wellness administration associated with office and personnel functions in a Station Operations office

* Assists in the development and maintenance of advance work schedules for station operation functions utilizing computer generated volume data and staffing guidelines

* Forecasts future manpower requirements and may assist in coordinating the adjustment/utilization of staffing resources to meet workload requirements to assure efficient cost and performance control

* Develops and maintains statistical data and prepares information and reports pertaining to budgets, office forecasts, operations and performance

* Makes local purchases within authorized limits, maintains office supplies and processes local statements for payment

* Performs personnel-related duties including filing, processing payroll in accordance with provisions of union agreements and company policy

* Provides support for management by coordination and preparation of reports associated with personnel functions

* Provides work direction, guidance and training for the Clerk – Station Operations (as necessary)

Required

* High School diploma, GED or education equivalent

* 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role

* Proficient in Microsoft Office primarily Excel, Access, Outlook and Word

* Ability to analyze and report out on date

* Strong and positive communication skills

* Ability to work with all levels of the organization

* Detail oriented

* Ability to maintain composure in high volume/high pressure situations

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

* Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

* Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
