Title: Senior Aviation Supply Analyst

Key Role: Provide training and mentoring to aviation supply and aircraft maintenance personnel on a regular and recurring basis via the Aviation Maintenance Optimization Program (AMOP) fundamental concepts:
Instills “Best Business Practices” at the flying squadrons to reduce NMCM/NMCS and stabilize readiness.
Enables the development of higher-level maintenance management skills and understanding.
Establishes a healthy and effective maintenance base.
Provides continuous assessment, feedback, and one-on-one as well as group mentorship; ensures maintenance officers obtain adaptable, sustainable skills and maintenance acumen.
Teach short- and long-term operations and maintenance planning
Provides a clear supply demand signal that enhances planeside material availability
Experience with DoD logistics and asset accountability, preferably at both the retail (MALS or Intermediate level) and wholesale levels (DLA and/NAVSUP) (6 years minimum)
Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of RSupply and NALCOMIS databases & functionality
Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics processes, inventory and records management, and advanced aviation supply knowledge of demand forecasting.
Knowledge of reliability, availability, and maintainability of assets to perform analysis and supportability calculations
Effective interpersonal skills; ability to interact with clients dynamically
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Logistics/Operations – or related field desired, or equivalent level of experience in intermediate & higher-level aviation logistics (6 years minimum).
Responsible for the development of formal reports and briefing and reporting documents.
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite – especially Excel a plus
Experience in database management tools
Position is not platform specific, and duties and assistance may range across several platforms
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Location & Travel: Various locations dependent upon contract: MCAS Beaufort and/or MCAS Miramar, and other aviation sites as required (MCAS or NAS) such as MCAS Cherry Point, NC., etc. Occasional/limited travel to DSCR – DLA Richmond, NAVSUP Philadelphia, NAVAIR Patuxent River, and HQMC Washington D.C.
Compensation: Competitive compensation package offered to include base annual salary, paid vacation, and 401K match plan – furnished upon submission of resume.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Aircraft maintenance management: 6 years (Preferred)
