Senior Analyst – Naval Aviation – TS/SCI Job at AMERICAN SYSTEMS – 3.9 in Las Vegas, NV

WANTED: An experienced U.S. Naval Aviator to serve as a Naval Aviation Senior Analyst supporting the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV.

The JCER mission is to evaluate DOD Service Deployment Certification events on behalf of supported Combatant Commands to ensure deploying units are prepared to operate in a complex Electromagnetic Operating Environment (EMOE).

As a U.S. Naval Aviation Senior Analyst, you will:
Research and maintain a working knowledge of Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, Service, and CCMD direction and guidance regarding Joint EMSO (JEMSO) capabilities, gaps, limitations, issues, and concerns.

Conduct relevant evaluations of joint force employment during specified exercises to accredit EMSO readiness for each Service and USSOCOM and identify capability gaps and limitations. Author evaluation reports that deliver timely results to Services and Combatant Commands (CCMD) and incorporate the highest level of scientific rigor and statistical relevance at multiple classification levels.

Evaluate environments and venues during service deployment certification events in order to determine EMOE condition levels, based on threat duplication, replication, or emulation. Conduct continuous research on rapidly evolving EMSO threats to provide recommendations to improve realism for venue and event EMOE threat levels.

A week in the life of a U.S. Naval Aviation Senior Analyst supporting JCER will involve the following tasks:

Providing support for requirements development for EMSO evaluations.

Supporting planning and operational execution of JEMSO readiness evaluations

Conducting analysis and reporting of JEMSO evaluations.

Developing efficiency strategies and solutions such as standard operating procedures, tactics modifications, and policy changes.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
12 years of relevant experience required

Utilize expertise specializing in fighter/attack combat aircraft; however, experience in other armed aviation platforms is acceptable.

Operational level experience with preference to candidates with higher level broadening assignments such as Joint, CCMD and Service level staff

Understanding of current service capabilities and tactics with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EMSO in order to make recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings of JCER evaluations

Conducting tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning the impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats to joint operations

Utilize experience conducting studies, performing research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction and evaluation events ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity

Utilize experience working with partnering agencies that share interests in support of data collection, reduction, or JEMSO operations in conjunction with JCER evaluations.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Current TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
