Senior Account Manager (Digital Retail) – 12 Month FTC/Secondment Job at Heathrow – in London

Your role will involve:
Developing business plans for new and existing digital retail accounts

Building relationships with internal and external partners so that sales and income can be maximised in a digital space

Taking ownership of the end-to-end onboarding process for new digital retailers at Heathrow – from business development, agreeing commercial terms and negotiating contracts with new digital retail partners

Working closely with fulfilment teams to ensure operational delivery of new digital retail partners is achievable and in-line with all relevant Health and Safety requirements

Managing the Commercial Telecoms account with support from the Head of Category and line management of the Commercial Telecoms Manager

Working collaboratively to maximise digital retailing opportunities on current platforms including ‘Grab’ and in-lounge shopping

Being the subject matter expert and being comfortable in challenging internal stakeholders to deliver business outcomes in the legal, digital, IT development and marketing areas

Be the expert on digital trends relevant to all Heathrow Retail categories

These skills are essential:
Proven experience in commercial roles at a senior level including contract management and negotiations at Director level

Experience and knowledge of ecommerce – including ecommerce website development, onboarding brands to marketplace websites, ecommerce marketing and remote payment solutions

Knowledge of logistics/warehouse systems/remote stock order systems and concession models where stock is held on behalf of the brand

Strong relationship management and experience of managing a number of complex stakeholders

Knowledge of and experience in generating commercial income through digital retail development

Proven influencing skills in a commercial and/or operational environment

Experience in account management and in growing relationships to enhance performance

Knowledge of the airport retail operation and strategic drivers behind the airport business

Ideally, you’ll also have:
Knowledge of terminal operations, customer journey and regulatory processes

Knowledge of the legal considerations concerning off premises/distance selling agreements

Understanding of FSA regulation regarding remote payment agreements

Experience of Health and Safety regimes

Knowledge or understanding of technical and digital processes

Knowledge of the generic development and project management processes

Working location

Agile working means that whilst Heathrow Airport is your contractual place of work, your role will dictate your working location. This means that you can work from home but will need to come to the airport for meetings, events and training at your own expense. Sometimes, you might need to come to the airport at short notice and therefore we require you to be based in the UK.
