Security Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Security Officer at one of our clients based in London. You will provide contract security service for a client who is a pioneer in their sector. The client’s facilities are modern and designed with functionality and form at their core. All staff on site have access to gyms, food offerings; all provided with a focus on wellbeing. There are also baristas serving fresh coffee daily, for everyone. As a Security Officer at this site, you will have the responsibility for protecting all client premises, as well as providing a safe and welcoming environment for all persons. As a member of the security team, you will maintain a security and customer service presence in a visible, friendly, and flexible manner always. Customer service is a core concept to this security function and hospitality, or concierge service skills would be welcomed. In addition to playing a key role as an effective security team member, you will work closely with Team Leaders to achieve day to day security objectives, within the contract operation and help to create a truly world class security team, achieving unparalleled services.

You will need to possess the ability in managing staff, visitor and contractor needs; whilst utilising client IT and badging applications. Provision of all services will be undertaken whilst adhering to client confidentiality protocols.

Main Responsibilities:
Provide an outstanding, professional customer service security presence in all duties

Actively liaise with the client Front of House staff to provide a seamless front of house experience to all staff and guest

Operative access &egress technical systems

Provide a visible yet subtle security presence

Provide local event security, maintaining access control, during sensitive events

Provide the first point of contact for emergency services during incidents

What we can offer you:
£12.00 per hour

Shift pattern of 5 on 2 off, 4 on 3 off – 54 hours per week

Annual leave of 5.6 weeks per year
