Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of their corporate and SME portfolio across the Victoria & South Australia market. Deliver real impact supporting their high performing, fast moving, field-based national sales team.
With more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, they pride themselves on their extensive product offering and diversified portfolio – servicing not only mining, government and industrial markets, but also manufacturing and aviation.
With over 15,000 product SKU’s and loyal customers in both the domestic and international markets, our client offers an extensive product range and a desire to grow and develop market share.
About the role:
Managing a diverse large corporate and SME portfolio across metro and regional Victoria.
Maintaining strong customer relationships through effective account management.
Building out your current portfolio through new business development.
Recognising the potential for increased sales opportunities through accurately interpreting customer needs.
Entering orders into the sales system and liaising with various departments to achieve a customer focused outcome.
Providing guidance and advice for internal and external process improvement.
6+ years’ experience with a proven track record in sales with national accounts in the automotive parts industry.
A thirst for knowledge and experience providing customer service solutions in a trade environment.
Technical background in auto electrics or mechanics with a passion for providing first rate customer service.
The ability to travel interstate bi-monthly.
Excellent communication skills with outstanding negotiation and sales techniques.
High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
