Safety & Compliance Coordinator Job at HAYS in Sydney Western Suburbs NSW

Aviation Industry – $70-80k + super – Western Sydney

Your new company

You will be working for an international aviation company in Western Sydney. This is an entry level role newly created for a rapidly expanding team and organisation.

Your new role

Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will be responsibilities will include:

Assisting and carrying out audits and investigations along with supporting safety management system key initiatives and administrative duties

Assisting in the review and implementation of the Safety Management System

Providing expert safety technical advice, guidance and support to management

Assisting in or facilitate the investigation of incidents, dependent on risk or business requirements

Driving early intervention and influence early return to work, being initial contact for incidents

Completion of lead indicators and team tracking to contribute to and influence change and enhance WHS culture

What you’ll need to succeed

You will have experience in a similar safety role within an aviation or engineering environment

Tertiary qualifications relating to Workplace Health and Safety or Aviation

Working knowledge of Safety Management Systems, and Risk Management Standard AS3100:2009 and Quality Management Standard ISO 9001:2015

High attention to detail

Ability to influence others
