Relocations & Assignments Experience Lead Job at BOEING – in London
Introduction
Global Mobility’s goal is to provide a great experience to employees on relocation or assignment within the Boeing Group so they can quickly assimilate and be productive in their new location.
The Role
This role will lead on the International Mobility Process and Governance activities across the following areas:
Responsibilities
Identify appropriate market surveys for participation; identify and map market benchmarks; participate and lead activities associated with relocation market surveys to share best practices
Conduct studies to determine pay equity for relocation programs
Participate in external boards and/or councils and act as an industry expert and internal company consultant. Initiate change to relocation and assignments policies, procedures, practices and processes
Provide advice and data as needed to support union negotiation process by providing relocation and assignments information and expertise
Service process management including administration and service delivery of International mobility policy establishment, support and benchmarking
Audit vendor/carrier compliance to performance standards and develop improvement plan as necessary. Negotiate contract terms, manage RFP process for new vendors/carriers and develop quality improvement plan as necessary
Exception and escalation management and oversight, referring to established precedents and policies and procedures
Service quality monitoring, analysis and enhancement; service delivery health and assignment ROI; recommending methods of integration of services and operationalization of solutions
Policy and process development through benefits related project work
Operationalising compliance activities; secondment and international employment agreements
Lead the assignment experience initiatives and operations for Global Mobility; responsible for oversight and management to ensure a high quality assignment or relocation experience
Vendor management; escalation and issue resolution, continuous process improvement and development through use of metrics, statement of work oversight, and provider performance
Team coach; supporting with ongoing development and empowerment
Strategic stakeholder coordination and education to support effective learning of program benefits; service and solution development supporting the achievement of business objectives to support global growth and promote employee diversity and development
Lead new site establishment and geographic work movement activities to support strategic talent movement to support global business growth
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in their country of choice.
Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience working in a Global Mobility role within a large, multinational organisation
In-house supplier management experience and/or prior experience working within supply management
Prior experience of working across multiple geographical locations (ideally Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai, Kuwait)
Understanding of working with government contractors with an awareness of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Strong customer focus
Subject matter expert across global mobility and up to date with latest developments in the area
Prior aviation experience advantageous
