Description:
DroneUp is seeking a Regional Training Facilitator responsible for field training to support the overall Flight Training Program by maintaining records, curriculum, and materials to execute individual and team training objectives. Training Facilitators are regionally aligned to provide instructors with the information necessary to develop lesson plans for company-wide standardization.

Responsibilities

Support Hub openings by providing on the job training

Provide feedback to improve curriculum, flight operations manuals, and checklists

Maintain lesson plans and conduct ground training modules covering aircraft systems, computer software, and drone delivery procedures

Review course content to ensure technical accuracy

Maintain accurate student training records, student logbooks, and computer records

Enforce standards for each training program (i.e., required, optional, and safety-related)

Implement training for advancements in drone technology and support rapid changes in processes and procedures

Facilitate hands-on instruction for enterprise services with local and regional partners

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Associates’ Degree in UAS, Aviation, or a related field required

2+ yrs UAS-specific experience

Part 107 certified with relevant flight experience required

Knowledge of topics related to successfully operating a drone, such as FAA regulations, weather, airspace, aircraft performance, battery maintenance, etc.

Experience with flight planning software (Pix4D, Agisoft, DroneDeploy, Google Earth, Ardupilot)

Ability to initially travel up to 75% of the time

Training development and instructor experience preferred

This position also requires the following essential functions:

Visual acuity (e.g., needed to prepare and analyze data, to transcribe documents, to view a computer, to read, to inspect objects, to operate machinery

Capacity to reason and make sound decisions

Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company’s office or worksite

Fingering (e.g., picking, pinching, typing, or other working that uses the fingers)

Ability to read complex documents in the [English] language

Ability to write complex documents in the [English] language

Capacity to express thoughts orally (e.g., accurately, quickly, and loudly convey spoken instructions to workers)

Capacity to think, concentrate and focus over long periods of time
