Regional RFS Coordinator – Aviation and Cargo

I.K. Hofmann Staffing Services is currently recruiting for a Regional RFS (Road Feeding Services) Coordinator for a top airline service in the Atlanta Airport Area. The Regional RFS Coordinator ensures that RFS de/feeding capacity needs are met in a cost-effective manner, while maintaining 100% regulatory compliance. He/she ensures optimal utilization of all flight capacity platforms marketed by the airline. He/she makes sure that KPI targets and C2K milestones are met.

The Regional RFS Coordinator contributes to revenue optimization and profit maximization of the airline network. He/she adheres to all published processes and performance standards.

General Responsibilities:
Optimizes capacity of scheduled RFS services originating in USA and Canada.

Evaluates RFS schedules and relevant import/export traffic flows streamlining truck flows for network setup.

Maintains daily interaction with the Revenue Management team to ensure cargo is routed in the most efficient and profitable manner.

Ensures day to day RFS provider management and adherence to established SLA’s.

Interacts with RFS providers, staff, and handling agents to ensure transit cargo moves as booked.

Ensures relevant handling functions for export and import cargo are being executed.

Identifies, manages, and reports irregularities involving RFS providers and offline stations.

analysis internal and external non-compliances, makes improvements, and implements corrective actions in cooperation with relevant process managers.

Procurement of ad-hoc RFS capacities and/or cancellation of scheduled services ad demand requirements.

Identifies the need for, and procuring proper RFS equipment for special loads (roller-bed, flatbed, temperature controlled)

Responsible for RFS pricing information to internal stakeholders for specialty equipment or ad-hoc capacity needs upon request.

Reconciles and updates all complete RFS events to ensure data accuracy for external and internal compliance.

Monitors and reports relevant KPI’s to identify improvement opportunities.

Ensures adherence of US and Canada air freight transportation regulations.

Performs all other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisors.

Qualifications / experience:
HS Diploma required; college degree desirable but not required.

Professional experience in logistics highly desired.

Pay range $20-$25/hr. based uponexperience.
