Title: Project Manager

Aerotek on behalf of its client, is seeking a qualified Project Manager to coordinate operations for a helicopter maintenance facility. This is a contract-to-hire, candidates interested in this opportunity will be vetted by Aerotek. Prior aviation experience is not required, but preferred.* The Project Manager is responsible for tracking, verifying, communicating, coordinating, and reporting on the processes of a helicopter maintenance and repair operation. The PM will be working closely with the Director of Maintenance, using the ERP system to track orders, parts, and processes; update internal and external stakeholders/customers on progress, follow up on vendor orders to verify timelines, and present work package reports to clients. Examples include:
Verifying that vendor orders are on track for original deadlines; if not, updated workflow appropriately
Writing and delivering project updates to clients
Checking parts orders to see if they are track for arrival
Update customers with new findings and quotes (findings and quotes will be done by maintenance leadership)
Update electronics work order system throughout
Track and report metrics
Suggest new metrics
Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
1+ years project management experience in aerospace, manufacturing, production, or related field
Aviation/rotary experience preferred, but not required
0700 – 1600 Monday through Friday.
Office setting, sometimes in hangar and repair areas.
Experience Level:* Intermediate Level
