We have a number of fantastic opportunities to join the award-winning Civil Aerospace Project Management team as Project Controller in Derby.

What you’ll be doing:
As a Project Controller you will be taking responsibility for the control and governance of projects and programmes and act as a source of Project Management best practice and guidance. You will monitor, review and report status in accordance with the requirements defined in the Project Management Plan and agreed with the Project Managers.

Lead engagement on PM best practice – including Scheduling, Resourcing, Risk and Cost/Budget.

You will have an opportunity to govern and support the delivery of complex projects that shape Rolls-Royce; on time, at the right cost and quality standards by ensuring the business has credible and relevant information that allows us to make effective decisions based on data.

Working closely with relevant project teams to identify and report KPI trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action to ensure Programme performance.

Accurate data and reporting to relevant stakeholders across the PD&T Portfolio.

Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.

What we’re looking for:
Degree level qualification in a relevant subject preferable or equivalent industry experience.

Member of a professional body (APM/PMI) and working towards a formal PM qualification or equivalent.

Experience in the development and/or implementation of project management processes and lifecycle, and a good knowledge of the project control processes.

Experience of using PM toolsets (Primavera P6, SAP, Kanban, Risk) preferred but training will be provided.
