Production Coordinator Job at Pratt & Whitney – in Colomiers (31)
Execute PW1100G-JM Line support throughout at the Airbus Podding/FAL/Flight Line and Delivery Center.
The main focus is on a technical perspective assuring the PW1100G-JM continued airworthiness, carrying out root cause and corrective actions to issues discovered during the processing of the PW1100G propulsion systems powering Airbus family aircraft.
Working in-conjunction with Pratt & Whitney Toulouse office counterparts to assure best practices are employed in the daily line support duties.

Accountabilities
Airbus focal point for all line technical matters at the Airbus operations.
Coordinate with Airbus engine externals technically related issues during processing at Podding, FAL and flight operations and raise all the necessary trouble shooting reports.
Coordinate with P&W engineering technically related issues during processing at Podding, FAL and flight operations and raise all the necessary trouble shooting reports.
Use P&W provided web based Technical Publications as baseline documents when resolving Propulsion System issues.
Compile and issue Engine Borescope Reports to P&W / Airbus. Follow-up findings and manage to closure / acceptance.
Provide all the necessary information using the Web based propulsion system maintenance record database to the on-site mechanics / inspectors.
Maintain and publish accurate records of all work performed in accordance with the IAE / P&W quality procedures.
Provide direction to the mechanics: ensure that visual assessment of engine condition is made on completion of each flight and perform the necessary fault finding activities to include, checking for fuel, oil and air leaks and carry out trouble shooting tasks to write-ups.
Carry out support tasks during the FAL final phase engine preparation.
Manage GSE – maintainability
Coordinate with the Mechanics the engine tooling inventory
Maintain P&Ws engine LRU safety stock current to the latest Bill of Material.
Support Continuous Improvement initiatives (CORE).
Training of new mechanics: access to Technical Publications, Troubleshooting best practices

Qualifications and Attributes
Approved technical training, diploma, degree from Engineering school, or extensive experience in the Commercial Aviation industry field service.
Excellent English (spoken, written) language proficiency, Russian (native).
Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel out of the country in support of P&W/ IAE, as required.
