Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Weather Business Solutions team within AI Applications is seeking an experienced, resourceful software Product Manager to work with our team. In this position, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and evaluating the work of our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality features and functionality that exceed customer expectations and meet business targets.
The day-to-day work of the Product Manager will vary based on business priorities and the decision to drive specific initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support efforts to articulate markets, research users and define competitive landscape
Partner with marketing, finance, support and legal
Partner with the sales organization in their efforts to respond to RFPs, renew customer contracts and determine appropriate pricing
Review and approve quotes submitted by the sales team to ensure profitability targets are met
Manage relationships, contracts and payments with vendors who supply key components of our solution
Innovate with established and emerging technology – software, hardware and services
Define pricing, packaging and positioning and measure outcomes
Motivate product delivery teams by providing clear goals and driving the incremental value that can be delivered to our customers
Support ongoing prioritization, backlog management and planning for the design and development teams to ensure that the right things are built at the right time for the right reasons
Determine what features will be in a release and when that release will occur
Manage customer feature previews and gather feedback
Support the management of the product backlog, vision and roadmap
Incorporate stakeholder feedback and needs and share insights back to stakeholders
Author features, user stories and defect stories based on stakeholder input
Review features, user stories and defect stories for acceptance as needed
Track requirements and manage their change throughout the product life cycle
Maintain reporting for team growth that provides insight into overall organizational objectives
Learn from and share best practices with other Product Managers in the group
Continuously improve yourself, your team and the organization
Occasional travel

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You have experience working in the aviation industry; preferably as a dispatcher, pilot or meteorologist
You have a deep understanding of meteorology and how weather data is used within an airline or aviation customer
You thrive on multiple assignments in a fast-paced work environment
You are passionate about product and the impact it can have upon our customers
You have exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills
