Our Payroll Team is a team of five that sit in our Finance function with overall responsibility for ensuring our 10,000+ staff get paid across multiple jurisdictions.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to work within our Dublin based European payroll team, where hard work, initiative and enthusiasm are part of the daily routine.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious candidate to work within a highly experienced payroll team assisting in the preparation and delivery of in-house and outsourced payrolls. This is a busy and complex monthly payroll for 10,000+ employees and crew requiring a high level of attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have strong time management skills, attention to detail and an ability to work calmly under pressure. They must be able to work from their own initiative while being an integral part of our team.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced team gaining payroll experience within the Aviation Industry.
This is a permanent position based in our Swords HQ.
Update payroll in relation to salary changes for movements within the Company and calculate back pay where applicable.
Check the input of information relating to new starters i.e. tax, bank information etc.
Prepare and process spreadsheets for variable payments/deductions including sick leave, overtime, incentives etc.
Prepare and bulk load spreadsheets to the payroll
Answer telephone/written queries concerning a variety of Payroll, Pension, Tax and Social Welfare issues
Preparation of 3rd party payments
Administration of departmental documentation in line with controls
Adhoc duties as required by the needs of the business
Minimum 18 months experience working in payroll
The ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of other European legislatures an advantage
Proven computer skills including advanced Excel
An efficient and methodical work ethic – accuracy and attention to detail are essential
Ability to meet deadlines, strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner
Flexible work style and ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing work demands
Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when required
UK Payroll experience a distinct advantage or working towards qualification
