The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.
Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Part-Time Student for John Deere’s Aviation, you will:
Maintains various reports and preparing of presentations
Produce a variety of correspondence and reports in support of department processes
Enter data into appropriate spreadsheets and databases, and prepare reports as directed
Prepare month end accounting and various accounting daily processes
Performs analysis of basic or intermediate nature on information received, and researches or resolves discrepancies following prescribed procedures
Updates and maintains databases, systems applications or files to ensure accurate and current information is available for use by others
Maintain confidential data and know when and to whom it can be released
What Skills You Need
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Accounting, Aviation or other business related degreee
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
Graduation date of 2023 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work during the academic year
Available to work during the summer semester
Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
Demonstrated competency in computer software applications
Familiarity with basic accounting processes
Exceptional attention to detail
What Makes You Stand Out
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Experience or knowledge of aviation
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Familiarity with SQL, Python and Tableau
