The Windsor, CT site provides mechanical solutions including design, development, manufacture and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems. Position Summary We are currently seeking a Materials Control Clerk for our Windsor, CT location. This role would be working a split shift to support completion of 1st shift and the beginning of 2nd shift production, either 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm. Essential Duties And Responsibilities – All Areas – Work scope would primarily cover the Receiving role while supporting the shipping and stockroom areas of the department as needed. – Follows all site policies and departmental work instructions. – Uses copy/scanner to fulfil documentation retention policies. – Operate pallet jack, hand cart, and forklift (requires Triumph Group test regardless of previous experience. – Receiving – Verifying shipments for no physical signs of damage. – (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as raw stock, assemblies, parts, building material, office supplies, equipment, etc. – Performs a combination of documentation and systematic processes to complete required shipping & receiving duties. – Enters Purchase Orderr receipts into ERP system. – Shipping – Review supplier paperwork and physical parts to verify quantity, weight, and conformance of material to stated identification. – Processes incoming packing slips and prepares materials for shipment per work instructions. – Stockroom – Complete remaining parts waiting the stock put away process fro Receiving and/or Final Inspection. – Complete remaining job picks for urgent jobs. – Service requests from production floor for replacement parts as needed. Qualifications – HS Diploma/GED required, Associates Degree or higher preferred – Prior shipping and receiving experience required – Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams experience preferred) – High attention to detail – Able to read, write and speak English Physical Requirements – Ability to lift up to 30 lbs – Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while working on a computer or documentation, etc – Ability to stand for long periods. – Must be capabable of withstanding long perid of viewing data on a computer screen and /or in paper format
