Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Maintenance Engineers to support our Learning & Technical Data Solutions Program in Oklahoma City, OK., Seattle, WA. or Mesa, AZ.

This role will work directly with design engineers and other maintenance engineers and the U.S. military customer to have a direct impact supporting maintainers in the field by aiding them with accurate and high quality engineering data and designs.

Position

Responsibilities:

– Analyzes moderately-complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures and instructions

– Influences product designs and processes to ensure supportability and maintainability

– Develops and uses fault isolation procedures and techniques

– Creates systems theory descriptions to ensure common understanding of systems and components

– Conducts engineering analyses to verify the accuracy of maintenance/repair data

– Provides technical assistance; evaluates customers’ maintenance operations

– Develops procedures and techniques to allow users to maintain and repair products

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final Secret U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic

Qualifications(Required Skill/Experience):

– Experience in a role that required analytical, communication and problem solving skills

– Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data

Preferred

Qualifications(Desired Skills/Experience):

-Experience withmilitary aircraft maintenance or logistics

– Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering

Typical

Education/

Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
