About the role

You will take the lead in managing and prospecting Fuels and Lubricants commercial contracts for Viva Energy’s customers within the Resources portfolio. You will be key in developing and implementing sales, brand and marketing initiatives to drive category growth whilst proactively building relationships at multiple levels within complex organisations ensuring Viva Energy exceeds the expectations of its customer base. You will spend time face to face with customers, problem solve and provide innovative solutions to customers. This role will have full life-cycle account management including competitor analysis; developing proposals and tenders and establishing of strong internal and external working relationships.

Skills and Experience

An early career sales professional, you are a strategic thinker, proactive in nature looking to build on your face-to-face sales experience and relationship management. You enjoy seeking and developing opportunities to provide business value. Savvy in your approach you can manage multiple projects effectively and problem solve. You have demonstrated ability to understand and influence multiple decision makers and stakeholders at a corporate level. You will have a hunger for sales and a passion for delivering and exceeding customer expectations. You will pride yourself on your success in working with our customers on commercial negotiations and tender responses, driving outcomes, and engaging multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes and have experience in B2B account management / sales environment.

Ideally you will be:

Able to understand and influence multiple decision makers and a myriad of stakeholders at a corporate level

Customer focussed, you have a hunger for sales and a passion for delivering and exceeding customer expectations

You will be eager to build your capability in managing commercial negotiations and tender responses

You will love closing deals and developing partnerships

You will have experience in B2B account management / sales environment

Have refined financial acumen and clear understanding of the drivers of value creation
