The Boeing Company is currently seeking aInspection Unit Senior ManagerinEverett, WA.Position Responsibilities:
Leads employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families
Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops interpersonal and technical strategies
Provides education and mentor on the FAA Policies & Regulations, Boeing Procedures Manual and Quality System
Acquires and handles resources and leads process improvements
Develops and handles relationships and partnerships with: FAA, customers, collaborators, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
Manages, develops and leads employees and first-level managers
Administrator duties on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with quality or inspection on military aircraft
5+ years of experience with ODA (Organization Designation Authorization) procedures
5+ years of experience working directly with the FAA
5+ years of experience working with FAA-ODA Inspection Unit Members
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience leading and managing diverse teams
Experience in project management
Experience developing and implementing strategic communications plans
Relocation:
