This position provides superior customer service and inside sales functions for the various lines of business within EPIC Fuels. The primary focus is the General Aviation and Commercial divisions, as we handle dispatch for all fuel deliveries. The position includes constant communication and independent coordination with customers and vendors.

Accurately takes new orders and dispatches accordingly in the support of the GA and Commercial strategies by balancing EPIC margin with customer value, closely monitoring and influencing daily pricing decisions, and ensuring customer service expectations are met or exceeded 100% of the time
Works closely with GA and Commercial Sales Managers to ensure pricing strategies are being executed appropriately to achieve margin goals. Advises relevant parties immediately on any supply or trucking constraints that may adversely impact service and /or financial operations.
Manages daily delivery schedule, via open, constant communication with both carrier and customer to ensure on-time deliveries, in agreeance with company standards.
Coordinates with the Supply Department on supply points, to ensure the most cost-effective and reliable supply is available. Based on carrier/sourcing logistics, recommendations of source changes are encouraged as needed.
Day-to-day problem-solving, multi-tasking, and optimizing the opportunity to advertise and sell EPIC’s additional products and services.
Responsible for dispatching all truck loads of fuel to EPIC’s General Aviation and Commercial customers, using vetted, common carriers.
Outbound sales calls, both cold calls and qualified leads, are standard and routine, at about 20 % of the time.

High school diploma / GED required. Associate degree or some post-secondary education preferred. Minimum of 3 years equivalent experience preferred.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Intermediate PC skills and working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to an open office setting in a climate-controlled building. The noise level in this environment is usually low or moderate. The employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
