You will serve as a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER in the NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER, GUAM FUEL DEPOT of NAVSUP FLC YOKO REG.
You will issue fuel from fuel distribution facility workstation to small craft, ships, refueling units, and/or tank trucks.
You will follow proper procedures for opening/closing valves and starting/stopping pumps, accurately and promptly recording fuel transfers in accordance with technical manuals and regulations.
You will determine proper storage tank and opens appropriate valves so fuel can be received.
You will comply with environmental laws and regulations when working with chemicals and disposing of toxic and hazardous waste.
You will monitor the operation of gauges and meters to ensure safe and efficient transfer of fuels.
Occasional travel – You may be expected to travel for this position.

This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.

May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country’s laws/regulations.

You will be required to complete required Automated Fuels Handling System (AFHE) and other required safety training. Government certification to operate a pendant boom truck is required.
This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
