Job Summary
The Flight Training Scheduler is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and maintaining the flight training schedule in support of all flight training, corporate flights, and other internal and external needs. The Flight Training Scheduler will also be responsible for maintaining adequate records, supportive data, and auditing the scheduling software. The Flight Training Scheduler serves a key role in the Flight Training and Ownership team as a single point of contact for scheduling needs between Flight Operations, Executive teams, and other departments within Cirrus Aircraft. As a Scheduler with Cirrus Aircraft, will be expected to maintain the schedule far enough in advanced to allow for all departments to adequately prepare, coordinate, and plan for the events scheduled.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Plan, coordinate, build, and maintain the flight operations schedule far enough in advanced to allow departments adequate time to plan, coordinate, and prepare for the demand and capacity needs.
Assist the Flight Training and Ownership team, Flight operations team and Delivery experience team with capacity and demand modeling.
Coordinate with the Fleet Administration team regularly to schedule aircraft that are needed for flight training, corporate movements, and ferries to meet the needs of Cirrus Aircraft.
Assist the Flight Training and Ownership team with adjusting the schedule to meet internal and external customer needs.
Coordinate with and schedule the movement of customer aircraft from Duluth, MN to Knoxville, TN and various locations around the United States.
Receive, coordinate, and schedule all corporate flight requests.
Manage the supportive data that allows for proper scheduling and record keeping.
Schedule personnel in accordance with FAA FAR’s and Cirrus Aircraft policies and procedures.
Maintain, track and schedule pilot currency for company pilots.
Qualifications

2 years of Dispatcher, Crew Scheduling, or Business administration
Associates degree in Aviation Management
Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
Exhibit exceptional problem solving, resource management, and time management skills to fix problems in an
efficient and effective manner.
