Finance Analyst Job at Heathrow – in London

In Finance Business Partnering we are looking for qualified or part qualified Finance Analysts to support us in bringing value, through insight and analysis, to our stakeholders in either Retail, Operations, or Capital Projects.

Your role will involve:
Analysis and monitoring of financial and non-financial information and commentary to provide constructive challenge and trend analysis

Reconciliation of information, maintenance of data integrity and single version of the truth

Liaising with and influencing stakeholders within Finance and non-Finance functions and external to Heathrow as required to enable Heathrow to deliver its value potential.

Highlighting risks and opportunities, suggesting and supporting mitigating strategies

Long-term and short-term budgeting and forecasting of financial and non-financial information and commentary to provide insight for decision making, planning and performance improvements.

These skills are essential:
Qualified or Part qualified Accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ACA or other

Strong finance acumen with strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot data linkages, errors and opportunities. Ability to create financial models and present volumes of data clearly and concisely.

Knowledge and experience of working in a similar role experience of complex commercial and regulated environments

Advanced statistical and mathematical modelling skills with background in complex quantitative and qualitative analysis, especially building econometric models

Strong communications skills with a demonstrable track record of excellent stakeholder engagement

Proficient in using MS Office in particular Excel, word, PowerPoint, Oracle ERP (preferably Cloud)

Ideally, you’ll also have:
Experience / knowledge of using Oracle systems

Working location

Agile working means that whilst Heathrow Airport is your contractual place of work, your role will dictate your working location. This means that you can work from home but will need to come to the airport for meetings, events and training at your own expense. Sometimes, you might need to come to the airport at short notice and therefore we require you to be based in the UK.
