Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:
As a thermal and heat transfer working student / intern, you will be part of the

Advanced Aviation Technology Center of Excellence. You will work with teams

to design and develop optimization process with thermal, mechanical and flow

calculation tools GE Aviation applications

Essential Responsibilities:
In your role you will work with interdisciplinary teams to:
Work with GE design teams to adapt geometries for AM fabrication

Assist in the development of critical sub-systems for the industrialization of system design

Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments

Participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks

Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience in thermal design and flow calculation (CFD), Heat Transfer

Background in mechanical design and stress analysis

Good academic track record

Excellent communication skills

Can-do attitude

Open and creative

Team-work & commitment in a complex multi-site network structure

Fluency in English

Desired Characteristics:
Initiative to gain technical depth in engine simulation and modeling methods

Knowledge of aero engine technology

Initiative to engage in the aeronautical industry
