Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is conducting flight testing on the Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion omer’s facility on Patuxent (Pax) River Naval Air Station.
We are seeking a candidate to support the CH-53K in the areas of avionics/electrical engineering. Familiarity with modern avionics architectures, components and system engineering processes is helpful. Tasks include all aspects of test engineering which includes but is not limited to the following: ATP support, requirement analysis and allocation, bit monitoring, software loading, running script files, troubleshooting, conducting flight plans, data analysis and writing test plans and reports.
This position also requires the ability to support with on aircraft troubleshooting and aircraft system knowledge.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; s of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Demonstrated understanding of aircraft systems, aircraft avionics systems, aircraft computer architectures, systems integration and sensor operation.
Work will be performed omer’s facility in Patuxent River, MD. While working r, Sikorsky employees must follow operating procedures as established by the customer which include:
Must bea US citizen.
Must currently have and/or be capable of obtaining a security clearance.
Must currently have or be capable of successfully completing an NCIC criminal background check to access Pax NAS.
Must currently have or be capable of obtaining full unescorted access Pax NAS.
Must havea valid photo (driver’s license + social security card or birth certificate OR US passport).
Must havevalid driver’s license/vehicle insurance to drive on base .
Pilots license or familiarity with flight procedures is desirable.
