What You Will Do:
In this multi-discipline role, you will lead several managers and be directly responsible for the fabrication and tooling business within Korry. You make the call onmakeversusbuydecisions for machining, laser, injection molding, cobots, and paint processing. As part of the Operations leadership team, you will be empowered to make necessary changes to meet company plan deliverable goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support business unit goals, product development and daily production
Measure, communicate and drive group performance to meet financial objectives
Think and act like an owner, lead daily operations and continuous improvement
Reduce overall operational cost
Promote a team environment and develop direct reports and teams through mentoring
Evaluate,makeversusbuyfor fabrication and tooling
Use problem solving and team skills to meet customer delivery requirements
Responsible for hiring, training, motivation and the growth of employees
Partner with the sales team to support business growth and customer retention
Build a strong partnership with sales and engineering to make sure that cost goals are met, customer needs are prioritized and quality issues are resolved
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data and change outcomes
Hands on knowledge of MRP systems, Syteline is a plus
Business mindset, bias for action and self-motivated problem solver
Work well with teams and other functions
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Desire to lead and grow as a leader
What You Must Have:
Four year degree in business or engineering, MBA is a plus
Work experience of 5 years or more in engineering or manufacturing operations
You must be a US Person
