POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Senior VP Facilities Operations
Purpose
This position’s primary function is to provide guidance, management and
development of a diverse production team across multiple locations to deliver the
companies’ workshop-based products and services on time, at cost and to the
required level of quality while ensuring employee and customer safety is always
our number one concern.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Responsible for providing the overall general management, strategic leadership
and cost, on time delivery, quality, and safety performance for their workshops in
the East Hemisphere. Responsible to ensure that the workshops are operated in
a manner consistent with company core values, objectives, strategies, plans,
policies and goals. To create a mantra that delivers an exceptional customer experience. To lead people, technology, processes, and systems for best practice results in the execution of a quality product or service.
Provides leadership and management to ensure that the mission and
core values of the company are put into place.
Responsible for the overall cost management for their workshop. This
includes driving the workshop teams to achieve and surpass goals on
managing job cost, on time delivery, minimizing CONC and maximizing
utilization against the demand signal.
Lead the business in all aspects of strategic planning including capital
planning, resource planning and growth initiatives.
Spearheads the development, communication, and implementation of
effective growth strategies and processes.
Collaborates with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement
plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and
personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the
company.
Motivates and leads a high-performance management team: attracts,
recruits and retains required members of the management team not
currently in place; provides mentoring as a cornerstone to the
management career development program.
Assists, as required, in raising additional capital at appropriate valuations
to enable the company to meet sales, growth, and market share objectives.
Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the
company.
Represents the company with clients, investors, and business partners.
Ensure plans for the business are clearly communicated and subordinate
plans and objectives are aligned with overall objectives, including those
goals which may reside outside the direct staff.
Identify and develop key performance indicators (KPI’s) and utilize
shared vision and KPI’s to facilitate continuous improvement across the
business.
Prepare reports and conduct regular reviews as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Dimensions/Scope
A key element is developing and managing the working relationship with the
customer facing organization to understand and execute efficiently on required
current capacity and to develop future capacity growth and the technology
needed to deliver increased volume and new products and services.
General knowledge and proficiency in multiple disciplines: Maintenance, Repair
& Overhaul Facilities, Supply Chain Management, Health & Safety,
Environmental, regulatory compliance, Quality, Human Resources and
Information Systems.
Ability to align personal behavior with company core values and hold
management and staff to the same high standards of conduct.
