Credit Administrator Job at Securiguard – in Vancouver, BC

The Finance Team is currently looking for a Credit Administrator to join the Head Office!

This is a full-time position with extended health and dental benefits.

In response to COVID, Securiguard has implemented a variety of safety protocols in all its branches and sites of operation.

What will you do:
Send payment reminders and account statements to overdue customers

Clean up existing AR database

Assign coding and categories to customers to facilitate collections

Research various functions in Securiguard’s accounting software to facilitate collections

Respond to customers inquiries and follow up with payments in a timely manner

Coordinate with the Finance and the Operations team to resolve invoicing issues

Weekly review of collections progress with the VP of Finance

Cross-train in billing and AP

Work collaboratively with members of the Finance team. This may include sharing duties, providing coverage, and adjusting responsibilities given the volume of work

Other duties as assigned by the Director or VP of Finance

What will you bring:
Diploma or degree in accounting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented and accurate in data entry and management

Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills

Ability to problem-solve, organize, exercise judgment, and make decisions
