Title: Contracts Associate

Job SummaryPerforms due diligence on channel partner candidates and prepares authorization agreements.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with channel performance evaluations and channel partner network strategy.
Perform due diligence reviews on channel partner candidates. Support Textron Aviation and Textron Corporate compliance teams.
Drafts simple contractual instruments.
Communicates due diligence and contract policy and practice to internal business teams.
Prepares and administers routine correspondence and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal.
Prepares, organizes, and maintains contract and due diligence records. May conduct research to support contract audit and or facilitate business unit contracting trends.
Performs other duties as assigned
Education/ Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; or in lieu of an Associate degree (Business/Accounting/Administration) with a minimum 3 years of experience is required.
Qualifications
Basic to working knowledge of corporate policies and procedures.
Basic to working knowledge of contracting concepts.
Good to strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to draft simple contractual instruments in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines.
Professional demeanor, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external personnel.
