Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Visio and Word
An advanced level of experience with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint would be preferred.
Familiarity with developing strategic communications plans, including Best practices; Gathering research and feedback; Recommending appropriate channels and communication methods; Executing communications such as drafting and delivering messages; Ability to draft and maintain a communications plan. Basic design work or familiarity with graphic design concepts a plus.
Responsibilities
This position works with little supervision and involves support for FAA management up to the executive level to capture concepts, plans, processes, alternatives, schedules, and issues in text, original graphical and video formats for briefings, reports, brochures, web sites, press kits, congressional reports, talking points and other technical documents.
Specific skills include, but are not limited to, high-level proficiency with technical writing, editing, graphic design, presentation support, multimedia, and web support.
Assists in establishing standard communications processes.
