European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. It is an aircraft maintenance company as well as a cargo airline. The fleet of EAT Leipzig consists of 34 aircraft, including Airbus A300-600, A330-200 and Boeing 757.

YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a motivated and experienced member of our Management Team who is responsible for corporate communications, in close cooperation with both internal and external communications at headquarters in Bonn, as well as the Berlin press office and with our affiliate the DHL Hub LEJ GmbH.

In detail, the Communications Manager will:
Be responsible for all internal and external communication activities of EAT

Support the Senior Vice President Aviation Europe in communication tasks and advise management and executives on communication-related issues

Concept and support local press relations, sponsoring activities for the location

Supervise film and media productions and implement media events

Concept and implement small and large scale events

Support and further develop internal communications media including our intranet and social media platform

Be responsible for the employee magazine

Coordinate with the communications units of Deutsche Post DHL Group in Bonn and Berlin, as well as the Communications Team of DHL Hub Leipzig GmbH and implement group-wide actions and campaigns

Communicate the strategy of Deutsche Post DHL Group and its underlying initiatives

Be responsible for the moderation of events and workshops

WHAT YOU BRING

University degree in communication studies, journalism or economics, majoring in Marketing

Several years of working experience within communications or public relations

English and German skills on a negotiating level

Proficient in all MS Office applications and Adobe InDesign/ Photoshop

Knowledge of the DHL network and processes is a plus

Excellent and recipient-oriented written and oral communication skills

Loyalty and commitment to DPDHL as well as absolute confidentiality and sensibility regarding the handling of internal information

Distinctive analytical and conceptual as well as organizational skills

Willingness to regularly work at off-hours and during Nights, if necessary
